Every year, the fashion world bows to the conveniently placed Cruise collections (or otherwise known as Resort) produced by each fashion house. Designed to bridge the gap between A/W 08 and S/S 09 styles, cruise collections lend a hand to the fashion conscious, pointing them in the right direction for the coming season whilst producing new and quintessential looks.

These resort collections are crucial for the re-introduction of sunglasses into our daily wardrobes after the winter blues, and with Chanel, Dior, Giorgio Armani and Marc Jacobs' help we'll be sashaying into the new season armed with our sunnies rather stylishly...

Ray Ban Clubmaster Gets Makeover

My grandma used to say “if it’s not broken don’t fix it”. It might be an old adage but Rayban seem to be sticking to it. They’ve decided rather than coming up with new designs for sunglasses they’re going to take their existing range and update them.

On this particular occasion it’s the Clubmaster that Ray Ban have been working on. And on the 9th of December they’re officially relaunching their classic 50s designer sunglasses at the New York Bowery Ballroom. To get the party going RayBan has got local up-and-coming artists to recreate classic tunes from the 50s and 60s. Sounds great.

We’ll let you know as soon as we have pictures of the relauched designs. In the mean time, here’s something they made earlier, the older version of the Clubmaster.
