Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale put on a united front as they strolled through New York City this weekend, it marked the first time they have been seen together since Courtney Love claimed she had an affair with the Bush guitarist.The rock rebel, who made the shock claim on the Howard Stern radio show, alleged that she had had eight month affair with the musician.
While Courtney did not pinpoint an exact date, Gavin and Gwen have been together for 14 years and married for 8.
They also have two sons together, Kingston, three, and Zuma, 21 months.
Gavin addressed the claims on his Facebook page: 'Gwen and Gavin Rossdale would like to assure their fans that anything that may have occurred prior to their marriage has no impact on their current situation.
'All is well with the Rossdale family.'
Courtney, who is currently promoting her new album ‘Nobody’s Daughter’ told the radio show host: ‘He got good in bed... something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know.'
When asked if she meant she was having sex with Gavin while he was with Gwen.
She replied: 'Yes. She does know.' Stern asked again: 'You mean he was having sex with you while he was with her?'
The couple’s marriage was previously rocked in 2004 when it was revealed he was the biological father of model Daisy Lowe, after a brief fling with her mother in the late 1980s.
