Paris Hilton looks vacant
The socialite is said to be fuming after she discovered advertising bosses at Media5 had used her image to advertise billboard space in Wellington. Jamie Freed, her manager, claims Media5 does not have permission to use the image and says his client plans to settle the matter in court. Adam McGregor, a Media 5 spokesperson, says ‘The poster is just a bit of fun. Paris has a proven ability to laugh at herself. We assume that the agency has taken care of the rights to the image of Paris, but we will ask the question. We’re not trying to offend anyone’. In other news, Paris Hilton isn’t taking any chances when it comes to home invasions from now on. Since having a million dollars worth of her jewellery stolen from her LA home, Paris has invested in the best technology to keep her safe. According to RadarOnline, she has spent thousands of dollars to improve the security system at her house. She said, ‘I am very upset that these people went into my home and did this to me. It was so wrong and so much an invasion of my own privacy’. ‘Since then I have upped my security majorly, I have 24 hour security guarding my home and cameras and alarms everywhere so this will never happen again’. Dior collection - Dior Glossy 1 Dior Glossy 1, as worn by Paris Hilton, is an instant way to rev up your wardrobe. These oversized sunglasses include a Dior plaque and cut-away arms. Paris Hilton Assaulted
Whilst we love Paris Hilton and her oversized, bug-eye shades, it seems as though not everyone feels Miss Hilton should receive the special treatment.
Last week at LIV nightclub in the Fontainebleau Hotel situated on Miami beach, Paris Hilton was assaulted by a bodyguard after trying to request a song.
Swedish spinner , Steve Angello, felt the socialite was a little too close for comfort and his bodyguard promptly pushed her away, at which point Paris Hilton's current squeeze, Doug Reinhardt, intervened.
According to Paris Hilton, Steve Angello's techno line up was giving her a headache so she approached the booth to ask for something more dance floor friendly, Daft Punk or Bob Sinclair perhaps. On her MySpace blog she writes:
'(The DJ) was so unbelieveably rude and all because I asked to play one good song,'
'Then out of nowhere his bodyguard (don't ask me why he has a bodyguard, like he really needs one. Ha) pushed me really hard, that's when my boyfriend, like my knight in shining armor, stepped in and told the guy to keep his hands off me.'
Dough Reinhardt told E! News, 'I was just protecting my girlfriend,'
'The DJ's bodyguard pushed Paris. I stepped in. He tried to push me and manhandle me.'
Steve Angello has also been speaking out about the incident, this time on social networking site Twitter: 'For someone who claims to make records...don't come into a booth and ask me to play hip hop and then have your doorman slap me,' meow!
All parties concerned are now fine and no charges will be filed.

Hilton Sued for Bad Behaviour
Paris Hilton's little brother, Barron Hilton, is being sued for his bad behaviour at a Malibu gas station last year.
A station employee who says he was hit by Barron's Mercedes February 2008 has sued the heir over the injuries he claims to have suffered as a result of the run in.
Barron was arrested on the morning of February 12 2008, after he swiped his vehicle into the side of a pick up truck on Pacific Coast Highway, a fellow driver followed him to the station and called the police. The driver then made Barron sit on a bus stop bench before the police arrived.
However, gas station worker Mendoza Tellez claims that before he got out of his car, Barron drove into him.
Eye witnesses did say that the Mercedes hit an employee in the leg at the time.
Barron pleaded no contest last April to a misdemeanour driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above the legal limit and unlawful possession of a false licence.
He was sentenced to 3 years probation and was fined $2,000, as well as having his licence suspended for an entire year.
