Kreed Team rider Brennan rips the waves and school grades
School is tough enough but when you are a young middle schooler and a competing surfer things can get sticky. Brennan Aubol has over come this and with flying colors. Listed below is the NSSA press-release showing Brennan as one of the many student athletes who excelled in school (he’s listed on the top of the 4.) group.
NSSA Announces the 2010 Surfer Scholar Award Recipients!
Also, Brennan has been invited to compete this year in the Surfing America Prime series which is the gateway to possibly earning a position on the US Surf team if successful, a goal any young surfer would aspire to accomplish.
Way to go Brennan! We are excited to so that you are achieving great things inside and out of the classroom!

Are Designer Sunglasses Worth the Price? Wall Street Journal article
We all have wondered from time to time about designer sunglasses and what is so special about them. When I say designer brands I mean high end brands like Louis Vuitton, Prada, etc. which a pair can run nearly $500 give or take a hundred or so and that is not even with prescription lenses. Celebrities wear them, no surprise because they have the money or the brands give it to them, along with well to do socialites who can afford a pair. To an average person, like you and I, is it really worth it to buy a pair? What can we gain from it?
The only two reasons I can think of is that first of all, they are designer name brand. People buy them because they are associated with a certain brand and that association perhaps denotes a certain 'social status' or an elevated 'style.' The second reason, is the quality of the sunglasses themselves. I can maybe understand the price if the pair of shades is constructed of gold plated titanium, with turtle shell details, and the highest quality light-weight polarized lenses. All complete with a leather case with suede on the inside and lifetime warranty. Even then that is a stretch and the quality will not matter they are so happened to be stepped or sat on.
Here is an article from the Wall Street Journal about the value of the designer sunglasses. Here
Honestly speaking, there isn't a single brand that comes to mind that has the same prices and quality as Kreed and Crush sunglasses do. Nothing better than a great quality return for the price!

Kreed and Crush in Transworld Business
We've all enjoyed the Kreed and Crushes (the womans line) sunglasses and have benefited from the great quality and style along with an unrivaled affordability. Where else can you find good polarized sunglasses for under $50? It's not often one gets a look of what goes on the back end of a business. Here is a glimpse from Mark Lohrbach, Vice President of Fortress (parent company to Kreed and Crush), on what we can expect this year and the next.

Bail Out: Summer Fun
If you really love the look of the classic Ray Ban WayFarer, there is a good chance that you will like Kreed's Bail Out. It has the same retro look with more of a modern touch to it. With the classic frame, the Bail Outs have a 'narrower' look to it (the modern touch), which is good for those who have high cheek-bones (like me) and who don't like to have the bottom of the frame rest upon them.
I gave a pair to my friend Sean who told me later that he loves them and that he'll wear them everyday at his summer fun job.
Another alternative of the same style is the Pay Ups which is closer in design to the Ray Ban WayFarers.
Here are a couple of pictures of Sean rock'n the Bail Outs. Get your self a pair here.
