Kreed Team rider Brennan rips the waves and school grades

School is tough enough but when you are a young middle schooler and a competing surfer things can get sticky. Brennan Aubol has over come this and with flying colors. Listed below is the NSSA press-release showing Brennan as one of the many student athletes who excelled in school (he’s listed on the top of the 4.) group.

NSSA Announces the 2010 Surfer Scholar Award Recipients!

Also, Brennan has been invited to compete this year in the Surfing America Prime series which is the gateway to possibly earning a position on the US Surf team if successful, a goal any young surfer would aspire to accomplish.

Way to go Brennan! We are excited to so that you are achieving great things inside and out of the classroom!

Kreed in upcoming Soul Surfer movie

We recently heard from actor Deon Hallum that he's been rock'n Kreed sunglasses while being filmed for the movie Soul Surfer. You can see in the photo below that he's wearing our Fortress model. He has one major scene acting as a camera man to a Fuel Tv reporter who asks Bethany a big question.
Deon has also been work with NBC on a new show called The Event where he also has been wearing our shades!

Soul Surfer is a movie based on surfer Bethany Hamilton, who if you haven't heard lost her arm is a shark attach. Despite the sheer difficulty (actually near impossible) of surfing with one arm, she was determined to keep surfing. Today she is still surfing professionally. The movie Soul Surfer is set to be released sometime in 2011.

Thanks for the love Deon!
