The student performed ‘Just Dance’ by Lady GaGa dressed in Ray-Ban Wayfarers in red which were later commented on by the judges.
Judge Cheryl Cole said after his performance ‘I didn’t love it Nicolo. I think the one thing above all that you need, is to redeem that connection and I didn’t like your eyes covered.
Phillip Schofield has also admitted he thought his sunglasses were to blame.
‘Well I think it was a mistake to put glasses on him. If anyone ever comes here as a guest and has sunglasses on, we try very politely to ask them to take them off, because you don’t get to see their eyes. There is a real barrier there.’ He said on This Morning.
Of course we think his sunglasses made instead of break his performance. For decades pop stars have incorporated Ray-Ban Wayfarers as part of their performance. It is the rock star equivalent of a shirt and tie and something no singer should be without. Even Lady GaGa has a pair.

X Factor sunglasses
X Factor contestants Katie Waissel and Storm already look like ready made stars as they stroll through London.
The hopefuls were looking good after making it through to the final stages of the popular TV series. The sun was not exactly sizzling but they both felt the need for sunglasses.

Kate Moss sports sunglasses in the rain
As one of the highest paid supermodels in the world it was easy to see why Kate Moss has been so successful when she wore sunglasses in the pouring rain over the weekend.
She refused to let the rain dampen her style as she enjoyed lunch with boyfriend Jamie Hince in France, where she is shooting for a Dior advertisement.

Red carpet face off: Ke$ha Vs Juliette Lewis
Ke$ha and Juliette Lewis have given a certain mirrored aviator quite the red carpet workout this summer.
We noticed that the Ray-Ban Road Spirit Outdoorsman first appeared on Juliette Lewis at the Ray-Ban Aviator: The Essentials re-launch back in May.
The actress and singer donned a pair of the cool shades on the red carpet as well as a pair of stonewash denim jeans, which she layered with a red top, a blue denim and a leather jacket.
A couple of months later, Ke$ha wore the same sunglasses to the Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, where she was hosting hosted an exclusive invite-only pool party.
Their sunglasses were originally designed for U.S. military pilots in 1937. Now their ridiculously cool shades form part of the Ray-Ban Outdoorsman collection and are the hottest accessory to own this season.

Lady GaGa angers Beatles fans by playing John Lennon's piano
Sean Lennon had tweeted a photograph of the Aljandro singer seated at the white grand piano.
But in response to criticism he later removed the snap of his friend.
Fans ranted that she was not worthy to play the antique.
Sean said, 'Pianos meant are to be played. Why is everyone so uptight?
'What should we do, lock it away in a dusty room? So judgemental...'
He added, 'come on, lighten up...life's too short, there're enough real problems in the world....
'Firstly, he gave that piano to my mother for her birthday, it is hers, secondly, he was not uptight the way you seem to be.'
While Beatles fans were concerned that Gaga was playing the piano, her fans were sleeping in the New York streets for a chance to see her play on the Today show.
Gaga tweeted encouragement, 'Thousands of precious lil monsters are sleeping in street outside TodayShow.

Lindsay Lohan sentanced to jail
The actress broke down in tears as the Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel handed down the term and blasted her for not taking her probation seriously.
The Mean Girls star must also serve 90 days as an in-patient on a substance abuse programme once she is released from jail.
In an attempt to avoid jail after it was ruled she violated her probation by repeatedly missing court-ordered alcohol education classes, Lindsay said that
she did not realise she had not been keeping up with the order and insisted a busy work schedule kept her from attending.
She maintained, 'I was taking it seriously. I wasn't expecting any special treatment.'
'I'm not taking this as a joke. It's my life and my career, something I have worked for my entire life.'
'I have tried to do the best I can. It's just been such a long haul. I don't want you to think I don't respect you and your terms.
'I really did think I was doing what I was supposed to do, and I mean it with all my heart.'
But the judge was insistent, 'I couldn't have been more clear [about my orders]. There are no excuses.'
Lindsay had failed to attend once-weekly classes at an alcohol-education programme at least nine times since October 16.

Cheryl Cole struck down with malaria
The singer collapsed during a photo shoot on Saturday and was initially diagnosed with exhaustion.
But friends of the X Factor judge say her condition dramatically deteriorated the next day.
Doctors took urgent tests and admitted her to hospital where it was confirmed she was suffering from the highly infectious malaria.
The 27-year-old is thought to have caught the deadly disease while holidaying in Tanzania with her dancing partner Derek Hough.
A source told The Sun, "She told doctors she'd had stomach pains since her return from Tanzania. On Sunday evening her condition deteriorated so rapidly she knew it was something serious."
"She'd spent 48 hours in bed trying to sleep off what she thought was a stomach bug. She was extremely weak, sweating and drifting in and out of consciousness. She was driven to hospital where tests showed malaria. Everyone is really concerned. She is very ill."
It is thought that Cheryl will remain in hospital and under close observation for the next couple of weeks before being able to rejoin the rest of the X Factor team.

The topless photographs circulated the internet back in 2007 when the actress was just 18-years-old.
The 23-year-old told US Glamour magazine, ’I think it has made me stronger, but it still hurts.’
‘It sucks because [the photos were] supposed to be private, but at the same time a lot of actresses do it [in movies].’
She added, ‘Eventually, I’m sure that I will [too]. But I don’t know if I would be able to do it now.’
The ‘Sneakernight’ singer also opened up about her relationship with High School Musical co-star Zac Efron, 22.
‘We got lucky because we started off together, so I think people like us because they fell in love with our characters.'
‘Right off the bat, we had a connection. I think everybody could see it. When we had our audition, they paired us together. And he was adorable.’

Sex and the City 3 plans dropped
After 12 years, 94 episodes and two blockbuster movies, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are out of work, reports the Daily Mail.
Entertainment Weekly said of the film, 'SATC 2 transformed four once mildly likeable characters into rancid, obliviously over entitled grotesques.'
The film also performed disappointingly at the box office, coming in third in the U.S on its opening weekend and taking in $37million compared to the first movie which raked in $57million.
Everybody had hoped that there would be a third instalment of the smash hit to complete a big-screen trilogy - even the cast.
SJP recently said, 'I hope Carrie will live on.'
And John Corbett, who plays Aiden Shaw, said, 'I think the girls are up for [another movie] and Michael Patrick King has lots of ideas.'
Grazia reports that SJP has been hard hit by the decision to bring an end to SATC.
A source told the publication, 'SJP did not see this coming,'
'She has been in tears about it all.'

Eclipse gets rave reviews
The film has received positive comments from the papers Variety and Hollywood Reporter, which suggest the film is the best in the series so far.
Peter Debruge says in Variety, ‘finally feels more like the blockbuster this top-earning franchise deserves … Despite the somewhat simple-minded source, the
producers plot everything as if it were a strategic game of chess’
‘Eclipse feels the most cinematic of the series so far.’
A view echoed by Kirt Honeycutt of the Hollywood Reports, who thinks ‘Eclipse [is] a film that neatly balances the teenage operatic passions from Stephenie Meyer's novels with the movies' supernatural trappings’.
The film critic especially likes its light sense of humour, highlighting dialogue that vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) says to Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) about werewolf Jacob Black (Taylour Lautner) ‘Doesn't he own a shirt?’
Out of the three main characters it is Taylor who is picked out, ‘[He] nearly steals the movie with his ripped muscle and steely acting. He definitely has the 'it' factor Hollywood always looks for.’
Eclipse opens in the US this Friday and in the UK on 9 July.

Michael Jackson sells 4 million albums in the year since his death
A staggering 4 million of his albums have been sold around the world, plus a million more by the Jackson Five and the Jacksons, making approximately
£250 million in album sales.
About £3.3million was also made from ringtone sales in America.
Add in 12.9 million track downloads in the U.S over the past year, along with 26.5 million in international downloads, and that is another £23 million.
His executors have reportedly paid off nearly £136 million off his £340 million debt.
There is also £1.3 million from digital performance royalties from music subscription services and £3 million from global digital performances, making a total of £291 million.
Michael died of cardiac arrest at his home. The exact cause of his death is still not known.
During his time on earth, the singer sold more than 750million albums and was the proud owner of 13 Grammy awards. His signature vocals, dance moves, and the way he dressed have influenced pop culture throughout the world and he will sorely be missed.

Has Megan Fox had plastic surgery?
The Sun newspaper described the 24-year-old as having 'utterly smooth, mask like features' that looked like the affects of a cosmetic procedure.
The publication also said that the actress appeared to have ‘a slight trout pout' caused by possible collagen injections and that her breasts were 'rigid'
and 'gravity defying.'
An onlooker said of her appearance, ‘Megan looked gorgeous - everyone's jaws hit the floor. But her boobs didn't look natural.’
Another source added, ‘Megan was so naturally sexy - that's why she was considered the best-looking woman on Earth. But recently she's looked too skinny, stiff and a little fake.’
Megan, who recently announced her engagement to long term boyfriend Brian Austin Smith, has since revealed she is more in love with her fiancée than ever before.
She told People magazine, ‘We're just even more committed to each other than we always have been. I'm more in love with him now than I was in the beginning.’
She also said of their nuptials, ‘It's not going to be a big wedding. I'm not one of those girls - if it happens, it will be very low-key and quick and unplanned.’
