As one of the highest paid supermodels in the world it was easy to see why Kate Moss has been so successful when she wore sunglasses in the pouring rain over the weekend.

She refused to let the rain dampen her style as she enjoyed lunch with boyfriend Jamie Hince in France, where she is shooting for a Dior advertisement.

Despite a distinct lack of sunshine the model sported Ray-Ban 2140 Wayfarers as she attended lunch at Caf de Flore.

Kate is the only celebrity who could get away with wearing sunglasses in the rain. Not to mention leather trousers and a matching leather trim jacket.

Lady GaGa angers Beatles fans by playing John Lennon's piano

The son of John Lennon has caused outrage among Beatles fans after allowing Lady GaGa to play their heroes piano.

Sean Lennon had tweeted a photograph of the Aljandro singer seated at the white grand piano.

But in response to criticism he later removed the snap of his friend.

Fans ranted that she was not worthy to play the antique.

Sean said, 'Pianos meant are to be played. Why is everyone so uptight?

'What should we do, lock it away in a dusty room? So judgemental...'

He added, 'come on, lighten up...life's too short, there're enough real problems in the world....

'Firstly, he gave that piano to my mother for her birthday, it is hers, secondly, he was not uptight the way you seem to be.'

While Beatles fans were concerned that Gaga was playing the piano, her fans were sleeping in the New York streets for a chance to see her play on the Today show.

Gaga tweeted encouragement, 'Thousands of precious lil monsters are sleeping in street outside TodayShow.

'May NY watchover u, + may u sleep smiling under the stars. Amen.'

Eclipse gets rave reviews

Eclipse, the third instalment in The Twilight Saga based on the novels by Stephanie Meyer, has received rave reviews ahead of its opening this weekend.

The film has received positive comments from the papers Variety and Hollywood Reporter, which suggest the film is the best in the series so far.

Peter Debruge says in Variety, ‘finally feels more like the blockbuster this top-earning franchise deserves … Despite the somewhat simple-minded source, the
producers plot everything as if it were a strategic game of chess’

‘Eclipse feels the most cinematic of the series so far.’

A view echoed by Kirt Honeycutt of the Hollywood Reports, who thinks ‘Eclipse [is] a film that neatly balances the teenage operatic passions from Stephenie Meyer's novels with the movies' supernatural trappings’.

The film critic especially likes its light sense of humour, highlighting dialogue that vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) says to Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) about werewolf Jacob Black (Taylour Lautner) ‘Doesn't he own a shirt?’

Out of the three main characters it is Taylor who is picked out, ‘[He] nearly steals the movie with his ripped muscle and steely acting. He definitely has the 'it' factor Hollywood always looks for.’

Eclipse opens in the US this Friday and in the UK on 9 July.

Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan in the Twilight film saga, is telling all in the June issue of Elle fashion magazine.

She wows on the front cover in a loose fitting top tucked into high-waist trousers. Inside she opens up about fame and her relationship. Here are some of

On being famous:

‘It’s insane! Once somebody finds out, you have to get the hell out of wherever you are. People freak out. And the photographers, they’re vicious. They’re mean. They’re like thugs. I don’t event want to drive around by myself anymore. It’s f*****g dangerous.’

On losing her privacy:

‘Somebody knocked on my hotel room door and asked for a light, then said that they were a big fan. I was like, ‘Do you really need me to light your cigarette? How do you know what room I’m in?’ I can’t be by myself and I like being by myself.’

On accepting awards:

‘I think it’s funny that when I go onstage to accept an award, they think I’m nervous, uncomfortable, and awkward—and I am—but those are bad words for them.’

On her red-carpet behaviour:

‘People say that I’m miserable all the time. It’s not that I’m miserable, it’s just that somebody’s yelling at me…I literally, sometimes, have to keep myself from crying…It’s a physical reaction to the energy that’s thrown at you.’

On her relationships:

‘I would never cheapen my relationships by talking about them. People say, ‘Just say who you’re dating. Then people will stop being so ravenous about it.’ It’s like, No they won’t! They’ll ask for specifics.’

Diana Vickers: 'I'll stay at number one'

Diana Vickers has told the News of the World that she is happy she didn’t win the X Factor in 2008.

Since being eliminated from the semi-final of the reality TV series, the solo star has achieved a number 1# single and is about to release her debut album ‘Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree.

Diana, who reached the semi final, said: ‘I'm so grateful I didn't win. I think the originality is stripped away from those who do make it.’

The star added: Between then and now, I've been given time to grow, do The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, which I'd never been able to do had I won.’

Meanwhile, the 18-year-old has revealed she remains confident of winning the singles chart for a second week running.

However, acknowledged Rangers FC fans who are campaigning for 'The Best' by Tina Turner to reach the top spot - after it made the top ten on Sunday.

She told the Daily Record: ‘Good luck to them but I am so pleased to be number one. I hadn't heard about their Facebook group. I genuinely wish them luck but hopefully I'll stay at number one. It has been overwhelming.’

The singer said of her victory: "Just to get into the top ten would have been amazing. The fact that I am number one is a relief as I was so nervous."

Lady GaGa has sparked fury among fans after doubling ticket prices to her Monster Ball shows.

Tickets for her May and June UK gigs cost £50 to £75, yet tickets to her recent Monster Ball shows cost between £27.50 and £35.

Complaints have been pouring in.

‘It's disgusting. We made both albums number one and this is how she repays us.' one fan, Mannisrai, said on her website.

‘This is steep.’ another fan, Barley 142007, added.

The rise in ticket prices comes after the Telephone singer won International Female Solo Artist, International Album and International Breakthrough at the 2010 BRIT Awards last month.

Concert promoter Live Nation says that the tour has been upgraded to a ‘first-rate arena production’ and defended the ‘fair and comparable’ prices.

The 22-year-old is said to have lost £2million staging a recent US tour and paid £52,000 for a giant bathtub for her X Factor spot last December, reports The Sun. The newspaper also quotes her as saying ‘I've gone bankrupt about four times. My manager wants to shoot me.’

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Interscope Records has told MTV that the singer is planning to release her Monster Ball tour to DVD in 3D.

‘There are talks about a 3D concert and DVD in the near future,’ said the spokesperson, but without revealing any visual details.
