As the man behind the now-infamous Opium campaign featuring Sophie Dahl reclining naked across a cushion, Tom Ford has never shied away from controversy.

Followers of his overtly sexy campaigns will not be disappointed by imagery for the upcoming Tom Ford AW2010 sunglasses collection.

The campaign shot by the designer turned fashion designer himself, sees Nicholas Hoult puckering up to a crow and Freja Beha Erichsen breastfeeding one.

For his latest collection Tom Ford drew inspiration from The Birds by Alfred Hitchcock, one of our favourite masters of the thriller movie genre.

The Birds (1963) is a very eclectic reference for the forthcoming collection of sunglasses, which will be available from September.

Cheryl Cole receives £700,000 pay rise

Cheryl Cole will receive an extra £700,000 if she returns to the X Factor judging panel, it has been alleged.

A source told the News of the World: ‘Signing Cheryl is our absolute priority. She's a huge part of the show and she doesn't need to do it now her solo singing
career is so successful,’

TV executives are said to be desperate to get the solo singer back on the show after her success on the show, including mentoring X Factor winners Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry.

The source added: ‘Signing Cheryl is our absolute priority. She's a huge part of the show and she doesn't need to do it now her solo singing career is so
successful,’

Cheryl and the remaining X Factor judges will negotiate their contracts by the end of this month.
If the Girls Aloud singer is rewarded with an additional £700,000, she will stand to earn £1.7million for her part in the show.

The source said: ‘She will take a pay increase but that's not why she does the show - she's not someone driven by money at all.’

Cheryl is also rumoured to have been offered $2.2 million to join the judging panel on the US version of the show.

In other news, the Fight For This Love singer is said to have turned down the single Dirty Picture for her solo album 3 Words.

Taio Cruz, who collaborates with Kesha on the song, said that the song would have been perfect for Cheryl, especially after the recent allegations about her husband Ashley Cole cheating on her.
He told the Daily Star: ‘I think she should have done Dirty Picture because since Ashley was sending rude pictures to girls, she could have said: 'Guys are sending me pics',’

Lindsay Lohan snubbed on Mean Girls DS cover

Lindsay Lohan has been cut from the cover of an upcoming Nintendo DS game based on the movie Mean Girls.

The Plastics – Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert – are all accounted for, except for one omission.

The 2004 feature – in which Lindsay plays the lead role of Cady Heron - is perhaps one of the most recognisable films in her ‘acting career’ so far. So
leaving her out of the cover will come as an almighty blow to the former Hollywood star.

Per the press release, players of the game ‘follow the misadventures of Cady from Jingle Bell Rock to the school prom’ and face ‘jocks, art freaks and
mathletes’ to become prom queen, so where's Cady herself?

Lindsay being erased from the box art has nothing to do with her not being considered a good role model for children.

The game was licensed from Paramount and apparently the use of Lindsay’s imagery would have been extraordinarily expensive.

Mean Girls the game – which doesn’t actually include the likenesses of Lindsay or her The Plastics – is due out on June 01.

In other news, Brandon Davis – who infamously dubbed Lindsay a ‘firecrotch’ several years ago – has denied calling ex-girlfriend Mischa Barton ‘fat’ and a ‘hefer’ on Twitter.

He told In Touch that not only did he not make the taunts, he doesn't even have a Twitter account.

The oil heir said: ‘I would never say anything nasty about Mischa, especially about her weight.

‘I am pissed that someone stole my identity and started Twittering things.’

He also disappeared to use his mobile phone in private. After an aggravated phone call, he openly moaned about his relationship with the famous socialite.

On Saturday, the sports star told photographers that he did not know where Kim was. Then when asked if they were still an item, he replied 'no more questions'.

The two are said to have agreed to keep details surrounding the split private.

Mark Owen confesses to 10 affairs

Take That singer Mark Owen has today admitted to cheating on his wife with at least ten different women, blaming alcohol for his infidelity.

The singer said he was ‘deeply sorry’ for the pain he had caused his wife Emma, whom he married in a Scottish castle in October last year.

They have two children, Elwood and Willow Rose, and have been together for more than five years.

One affair was with account manager Neva Hanley, whom he started seeing around the same time he began dating Emma, he revealed in a tell-all confession to The Sun.

Other indiscretions were alcohol-fuelled one-night stands that took place while he was on tour with the band.

'I don't know how many girls there were in all. Maybe ten,' he told the newspaper.

He also said that his Take That band mates were unaware of his ongoing affair with Neva Hanley, but did not say if they knew of his many one-night stands on tour.

'I'm so deeply sorry for the pain my actions have caused my family and friends.’ He said in a statement released today.

'I'd like to ask the media to please respect the privacy of my wife and children during this difficult time.'

'I denied to her [Emma] I was having an affair when things were going on. I want to do the right thing now for the kids and Emma. She is absolutely without a doubt the only person I want to be with for the rest of my life.'

Cheryl Cole agrees to marriage counselling

The Daily Mail has learned that Cheryl Cole has agreed to attend counselling sessions with her husband, despite originally telling friends she was intent on divorcing the Chelsea footballer.

A source close to the couple last night told the Daily Mail 'She thinks he deserves to be heard and understands how he could think that she let him down as a wife.' Who claims the 26-year-old has started to believe she is also to blame for the breakdown of their marriage.

The source revealed 'Cheryl sees Ashley as different to John Terry. He has managed to persuade her that he's not a cad - more a victim of circumstance.

'She's now starting to think he's vulnerable and immature and easy prey for predatory women.'

The source continued: 'Of course, Cheryl is devastated and furious at what he's done. But she accepts she owes it to their marriage to talk it through with him.'

Ashley Cole allegedly slept with four other women during their three-and-a-half year marriage.

Ashley Cole is blaming his infidelities during his three-and-a-half year marriage to Cheryl Cole on his mother-in-law.

The Chelsea footballer has told friends that their problems began when Joan Callaghan moved into their nine-bedroom £6million Surrey mansion two years ago.

According to reports published by the Daily Mail, the England defender even offered to go into sex rehab like Tiger Woods in hope of reconciliation.
