Cheryl Cole arrived in France wearing a gold cocktail ring on her wedding ring to replace the two that her estranged husband Ashley Cole had previously bought her.She has remained tight-lipped about her separation from the Chelsea footballer, but has found other ways to make her feelings clear.
The Girls Aloud singer is in Paris to promote her new single Parachutte, taken from her debut number one album Fight for This Love.
She told yesterday how she was flattered by a recent poll which placed her as the most inspiration woman of the decade.
She said: 'I love inspiring other women.
'But I'm still a human being, so obviously there are going to be times I still make mistakes - a bad choice or a bad outfit or whatever, but I'm hoping that still is an inspiration to women.'
Other celebrities included in the poll were Jennifer Aniston, Kylie Minogue and Oprah Winfrey.
In other news, the X Factor judge has confirmed any future love interest will be the opposite of her super-fit sporting husband – because she is on the lookout for a man with a beer belly.
She said in an interview with the Bauer Radio Network: ‘A guy could be in the Speedos and be ripped to within an inch of his life and I don’t think I’d look again.’
‘It would have to be the Bermuda shorts and the pot belly.’
The Loreal spokeswoman also told the station she is terrified about going on tour with The Black Eyed Peas next month.
She said: ‘I’m actually recording some new material and going on tour with The Black Eyed Peas which is exciting/scary.’
