Victoria Beckham: 'My heart goes out' to Cheryl Cole

‘I have so much sympathy for Cheryl. My heart goes out to her – both as a woman and as someone in the media spotlight,’ she said at Elton John’s Oscars party.

‘I feel for her so much. It's a horrible situation but she's a fantastic, strong woman and she will be fine,’

The former Spice Girl became friendly with the Girls Aloud singer during the World Cup in Germany 2006, where they went out for dinner together several times in the German town of Baden Baden. But the fashion designer said that they have
not spoken for months.

However, the pair are said to be planning to meet up when Ashley Cole returns from France, where he is being treated for a broken ankle.

In other news, Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle says that she hasn’t fallen out with band mate Cheryl Cole.

Following weeks of speculation of a rift between the two singers, the Irish lass has spoken out about their friendship on social networking site Twitter.

‘I'm hearing stupid talk about Cheryl and I having a fall out. Def NOT the case. I've written a song I'd love for us to duet on’ she Tweeted.
