Rihanna searching for donor

Rihanna has taken it upon herself to look for a bone marrow donor for Seun Adebiyi, a young Olympic skeleton participator suffering from Leukaemia, after he sent the singing-sensation a heartfelt letter.

With the help of Grey’s Anatomy actor Justin Chambers, she is now doing everything she can to help the athlete fight the disease so he can compete in the winter Olympics.

This is not the first time that Rihanna has gone out of her way to help one of her fans, she previously made successful public pleas in 2009 and 2008 to help Jasmina Anema and Lisa Flynn find bone marrow transplants. Her kind heart hasn’t gone unnoticed.

In further news, Rihanna has sparked rumours she is dating baseball player Matt Kemp after the pair were spotted kissing in the Caribbean.

‘I think dating might be a stretch at this point. They are in Cabo, but past that they are just good friends, and I don’t think we can label it as anything other than a friendship right now’ said the representative for LA Dodgers in a statement.

‘Who knows what will develop past the friendship’ he added.

It seems the Russian Roulette singer is keeping her options open and has also been linked to pop-singer Justin Timberlake.

Rihanna is in the process of writing an autobiography that will reveal the innermost details of her life so far, a source tells the Daily Star.

The book is rumoured to be titled The Last Girl on Earth and is expected to become the biggest page turner of this year. The Barbadian beauty will pull no punches and is not afraid to name and shame as well as the occasional name drop, reports the publication.

Subjects discussed within the book are thought to include her her turbulent relationship with rapper Chris Brown and various other romantic encounters.

Chris Brown plans New Jersey comeback gig

Jive Records has announced plans for a Chris Brown fan appreciation tour, for those who have stood by him after his recent behaviour, even after he pleaded guilty to assaulting pop-star Rihanna. The shock revelation came just hours after the release of Rihanna’s new single, her first since she was assaulted back in February.

Speaking on Twitter a couple of weeks ago, Chris Brown announced that his first comeback show would be held in New Jersey on October 27, alongside a whole host of celebrity performers.

The month long tour begins in November at The House of Blues in Houston and will touch down in similar venues in 19 cities across the country. Small theatres have been encouraged to attract a fan only atmosphere, say tour organisers.

Chris Brown was sentenced to 5 years probation and community service in August after a bloody attack on Rihanna. He has since made a public apology, but has remained out of the media spotlight.

Yesterday, Chris attended the Los Angeles superior court where he failed to make a guilty or innocent plea to either of the charges held against him. The judge granted Chris' request for a continuance until April 6. Perez Hilton reports that Chris apparently 'wants to avoid a trial at all costs because the picture of Rihanna taken one day after the incident — which has not been seen anywhere publicly — is unbelievable.' The judge sternly warned him that 'You are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone.' Asking his lawyer, Mark Geragos, if there was a no contact order in place, to which his lawyer replied 'Miss Fenty (Rihanna) does not request such an order.' If found guilty he could serve up to 9 years in jail and it's thought that his lawyer will try to strike up a plea deal. In a sad, desperate attempt to get the public back on side, Chris himself tipped off the paparazzi that he and Rihanna were staying at P Diddy's beach house. Perez Hilton reports that a source said: 'Chris tipped off the photographers. He needs it to be out there that he and Rihanna are back together. His only chance for a career was if she got back together with him, and he wanted people to see them there.' Rihanna Photo Leak

On Thursday, Los Angeles police filed a personnel complaint after TMZ posted a photograph of Rihanna and the horrific injuries she sustained when allegedly assaulted by boyfriend Chris Brown.

An internal investigation is being carried out into who leaked the horrific close up of the singers beaten face. The LAPD have released the following statement:

'The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence,' adding 'A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination.' Rihanna has yet to be publicly identified as the alleged victim in the Chris Brown case. 'A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination.'

Police are urging anyone with any information regarding the leak to contact the department.

In other related news, Rihanna is said to be 'royally pissed off' at Chris Brown's pathetic public apology and is said to have called the statement 'cavalier and arrogant'.

People close to the injured pop star told the Chicago Sun-Times that she was disgusted that while Chris Brown stated he was 'sorry and saddened … over what transpired' he didn't show any remorse over the bust up.

Rihanna is said to still be recuperating in Barbados.

Chris Brown Speaks Out

After a week of hiding and keeping silent, alleged girlfriend beater Chris Brown has finally issued a statement regarding the violent 'traffic mishap' which involved Rihanna.

He says 'Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counselling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.' failing to even mention Rihanna by name.

Also speaking out is Rihanna's father and like the rest of the world he doesn't know what's been going on behind closed doors either.

Perez Hilton reports that the singers father he last saw the Rihanna and Chris Brown together in July, 'They seemed pretty happy. I don't know what went wrong.'

He also described her appearance, saying 'There is some bruising. She will be all right. I think so.' He also went on to say that 'At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world.'

As well as investigating last weeks incident, police are now said to be looking into prior incidents. A source from LAPD told Perez Hilton 'We’re talking to her friends and management, who say she’s appeared with mysterious marks or injuries before, but always refused to explain what happened.' The case thickens.

Source Says He Wanted To Kill Her

Since yesterday, the D.A has asked police investigators to dig up more evidence for the case against Chris Brown.

Rihanna has also agreed to cooperate with the police, and the details she's told them so far are spine chilling.

A source close the investigation has been speaking to E! News and says that Rihanna has alleged that Chris Brown tried to choke her as he threatened to kill her.

They began arguing after they left Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party in Chris Brown's silver Lamborghini. Sometime after mid-night, he pulled the car over into a side street in Los Angeles' Hancock Park neighbourhood. According to the source, Rihanna then pulled the keys from the ignition and threw them out of the window, angering Chris Brown further.

According to the insider, when he couldn't find the keys he returned to the car and put his hands around her neck and said 'I'm going to kill you'.

Rihanna told police that she lost consciousness and Chris Brown wasn't present at the scene when she awoke.

Wrigleys were the first to drop Chris Brown from their advertising campaign and now he's also been dropped as the celebrity face of Got Milk? 'The Milk Mustache campaign is taking the allegations against Chris Brown very seriously,' says the Body behind the campaign in a statement.

'We are very proud and protective of the image of the Milk Mustache campaign and the responsible message it sends to teens.'

Some American radio stations are also following suit and have pulled Chris Brown from their track listings.

Rihanna's Assault Horror

Yesterday, we told you how RnB singer Chris Brown was arrested and released on $50,000 bail after he allegedly assaulted his singer girlfriend Rihanna.

Rihanna's publicist confirmed that she had been involved in an unspecified traffic mishap but wouldn't comment any further. However, all of the messy little details Chris Brown and Rihanna didn't want you to know surfaced over night.

Sources have now confirmed that Rihanna was the victim in Chris' ruthless assault and the crime report cites that the assault involved a deadly weapon! The nature of the weapon is still unknown but apparently limbs can be classed as a deadly weapon in certain circumstances.

It's also emerged that although Rihanna refused medical treatment at the scene of the crime she later checked in at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and has since been discharged. Rihanna is said to be suffering from two large contusions' on both sides of her forehead, a bloody lip, nose and several bite marks on one of her arms and several of her fingers.

Perez Hilton reports that one police officer compared her injuries to 'an MMA figher or something… (It) looked like she was growing devil's horns.'

The scene pictures are said to be horrific and even if Rihanna doesn't cooperate with the authorities, the photos alone are said to be 'devastating proof of abuse.'

Since the event, Wrigley's have dropped Chris as their spokesperson for double mint gum and have suspended all ads featuring the star. Their full statement reads:

'Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown. We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.'

It's also been reported that Rihanna's family are keen to get her out of L.A. and away from Chris. A member from her inner circle told Perez Hilton 'They want to get her back to Barbados. They want to keep her away from Chris right now.'

Chris Brown Arrested for Assault

This past weekend, Chris Brown had been booked to sing Forever at the Los Angeles Staples Center, but instead he was detained by police officers and questioned after he allegedly roughed up his long term girl friend and pop princess, Rihanna.

The 19 year old turned himself in at a Wilshire station around 6.30pm and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats. Chris was released on $50,000 bail, his case will now be sent to the district attorney's office and further charges could be filed.

Sources told E! News that 20 year old Rihanna was seen sporting bruises on her face.

A spokesperson for Chris' label declined the comment, Rihanna's publicist would only reveal that the singer was involved in an unspecified traffic mishap.

'Rihanna is well,' said Amanda Silverman, Rihanna's representative. 'Thank you for concern and support.'

Police will not reveal the alleged victim in the incident. In a statement, police said that Chris and his companion 'became involved in an argument. After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated. The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker.'

Chris had left the scene by the time police arrived.

She took the audience by storm last night as she opened the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards and give two amazing performances with rapper TI.

While my singing would be the equivalent to scratching a mirror with a 10 inch nail I'm quite happy to take a tip from the young diva on fashion style. So today, i've decided mainly going to be wearing black and hiding my weekend hangover behind some star-like Diesel Metal retro aviator sunglasses.
