| Rnb singer Chris Brown has been charged with assault, by means to create great bodily injury, and making criminal threats. Yesterday, Chris attended the Los Angeles superior court where he failed to make a guilty or innocent plea to either of the charges held against him. The judge granted Chris' request for a continuance until April 6. Perez Hilton reports that Chris apparently 'wants to avoid a trial at all costs because the picture of Rihanna taken one day after the incident — which has not been seen anywhere publicly — is unbelievable.' The judge sternly warned him that 'You are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone.' Asking his lawyer, Mark Geragos, if there was a no contact order in place, to which his lawyer replied 'Miss Fenty (Rihanna) does not request such an order.' If found guilty he could serve up to 9 years in jail and it's thought that his lawyer will try to strike up a plea deal. In a sad, desperate attempt to get the public back on side, Chris himself tipped off the paparazzi that he and Rihanna were staying at P Diddy's beach house. Perez Hilton reports that a source said: 'Chris tipped off the photographers. He needs it to be out there that he and Rihanna are back together. His only chance for a career was if she got back together with him, and he wanted people to see them there.'
