| According to Variety, American's under the age of 17 will currently be unable to watch Sascha Baron Cohen's upcoming flick, Bruno, as the Motion Picture Association of America has objected to scenes of a An NC-17 rating could spell catastrophe as far the films box office prospects are concerned as most movie theatres refused to screen films with an NC-17 rating. Distributor Universal are expect to make cuts and re-submit the movie to achieve a lesser R rating. The film sees Baron Cohen pranking celebrities, politicians and the general public while guised as a gay Australian fashion guru. Last July, Baron Cohen is said to have nearly sparked an all out riot at an Arkansas cage fighting venue when two so called contestants began kissing each other in the Blue Collar Brawlin' event. The enraged crowd began throwing chairs and beer bottles at the two male contestants, who were then forced to flee as police battled to keep the crowd under control. The comedians last film, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, took $128million in the USA upon its release in 2007. Bruno is looking set for July release and Baron Cohen's long term girlfriend, actress Isla Fisher, says that its guaranteed 'hysterical'. Talking to The Sun, The Confessions of a Shopaholic star said that her partner was at the premiere of her last movie but hadn't come as his fashion reporter character. 'I don't think that would have been appropriate, but I've seen the Bruno movie and it is hysterical.' UPDATE: The Motion Pictures Association of America has lowered Bruno's US age rating to an R rating.
