By popular demand, Michael Jackson has added 20 more concert dates to his final curtain call at London's O2 arena, bringing his total summer residency to 30 shows.

The first of Michael's live performances will kick off July 8. Advance tickets went on sale at 7am Wednesday but only for those who had been given a special promotional code after registering their interest beforehand, tickets go on sale to the general public Friday.

Standard seats at the 23,000 capacity venue start from £50-£75 plus booking fees. If you want to sit upfront in the midst of the action it will cost you, nearly £800 to be precise, each!

Chris Edmonds, managing director of Ticketmaster UK, says 'We have witnessed an unprecedented level of demand for the Michael Jackson concerts at the O2. Unfortunately due to a technical issue, we were unable to facilitate all immediate ticket requests,' adding, 'Apologies to those fans who were unable to log on, but fans should keep on trying to purchase tickets.'

Earlier this week, an AEG promoter confirmed that tickets for the first 10 come back performances sold out in minutes.
