| After a seriously dramatic trailer and much speculation, Lauren Conrad has finally confirmed that the fifth season of MTV reality TV show The Hills, will be the final one. The star of the show explained to Seventeen magazine 'My biggest thing with the show was that I wanted to walk away from it while it's still a great thing. I always want to remember it that way. I gave MTV a deadline and said, 'This is as long as I can do it and stay sane.'' The interview will appear in the magazines upcoming March issue. If Lauren was concerned about leaving on a high she should have quit a long time ago, fake marriages and on-camera only relationships have sucked the reality out of The Hills and have thrown it into hot water and in ridiculous territory. Not the high point Lauren believes she's leaving at. However it's not something we haven't heard before, at the end of the 4th season she told EW 'Every season, I think it's the last. Right now, I think this is the last season' Whether she's for real or not one thing is certain, Audrina Partridge and Speidi won't be going anywhere soon.
