| It's been a long time since actress Sarah Michelle Gellar flashed up on the show biz radar, but after rumours th  at a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie is in the works and a recent announcement, the paparazzi are back on her trail. Earlier this week, Buffy's head writer, Joss Whedon, crushed the hopes and dreams of millions as he told Hollywood reporters that a cinematic adaptation of the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer was 'Not gonna happen,'. 'Not gonna happen. Until I...make a public announcement myself that it's going to happen. Never believe anything.' Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended in 2003 after a successful 7 year run. In other news, a source close to Sarah Michelle Gellar, 31, and her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr, 33, says that the couple are expecting their first child together in autumn. The source told U.S magazine People, 'They're very excited,' The couple met back in 1997 on the set of horror flick I Know What You Did Last Summer, the pair also starred alongside each other in the cinematic adaptation of Scooby Doo.
