Charlie Sheen is being investigated for domestic violence after he allegedly threatened his wife, Brooke Mueller, with a pocket knife on Christmas day. Both parties involved had reportedly been drinking and taking cocaine. ‘My husband had me there with a knife and I feared for my life’ his wife told the emergency call operator, later describing the knife as a ‘switch blade’, before saying she was ‘scared for her life’
The Two and a Half Men star spent 10 hours in prison on suspicion of assault and was later freed after posting a £7,000 bail bond. The 44-year-old is set to appear in Aspen, Colorado court on February 8th.
The couple married in 2008 and have 10 month old twin sons Bob and Max, who are now staying with their mother, which has been approved by child-welfare officials.
‘The people from the social services agency talked to Brooke, her mum, her step dad and her nanny, and told them that everything looks good and Brooke appears to be an excellent mother’ a close source told People.
‘Brooke and the twins, Max and Bob, are planning to stay in their rented Aspen house for at least another month. After that they may go to Palm Beach to visit family for awhile’ concludes the source.
Meanwhile, Charlie Sheen may be a rubbish husband, but he is hard working and has already returned to the set of Two and a Half Men in Los Angeles, after apparently admitting that he takes his job very seriously. ‘Sheen is a consummate professional. (He’s) always on time, focused, and really liked by the crew’ a source tells Gossip Cop.
Maybe he should put a little more effort into his marriage?
