However, the singer insists she only had 2 sips of champagne. ‘I had like two
sips!’ she told UsMagazine.
‘Whatever, that was so not a big deal. Everyone needs to remember the last
time they had champagne’.
The incident comes in wake of her recent announcement that she will be
launching her own champagne label.
‘Seriously, Angel champagne (rose) by MC coming soon!’ she later post on
Twitter.
The songstress also joked on about the award ceremony saying ‘didn’t realise
they put champagne on our table so we WOULDN’T drink it’.
In further news, the bombshell attended the 67 Golden Globes award ceremony,
whose outfit has been described as the worst on the red carpet.
The 40 year old wore a low cut, very revealing, tight clingy black dress and
did not best represent her curvy figure.
When asked by UsMagazine at the Golden Globes event how she decided on her
dress she replied ‘I just like the way it fit and the beading. I thought it was
pretty cool. Now I’m like stepping on it’.
The Obsessed singer also said that seeing her Precious co-star Mo’Nique win
best supporting actress was the highlight of her night, ‘She is real, and so am
I!’ she said.
Meanwhile, the actress has admitted she felt ugly throughout her childhood
because of her African-American heritage.
‘I am very insecure about my looks and I always have been because of being
mixed race. It is not so weird now but as a child I felt very out of place and
didn’t feel pretty’ contactmusic quotes her as saying.
