 Country singer Taylor Swift and New Moon star Taylor Lautner are not Taylor-made and have split after three months of dating, US Magazine has confirmed. 'It wasn't really developing into anything, and wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends,' a source close to the singer tells the magazine. 'There was no chemistry.' The couple met on the set of the romantic comedy Valentine's Day and first sparked rumours of a romance when the country star hugged him at her October 9 concert in Rosemont, Illinois. They have since been seen on several dates and have both loosely mentioned their relationship on separate Saturday Night Live hosting gigs. However, the relationship apparently fizzled when the New Moon actor attended her birthday party on December 13, a close friend reveals. 'He liked her more than she liked him,' the source said. 'He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn't travel much to see him.' but they do 'plan to stay friends'; which is just as well considering they will soon begin promoting Valentine's Day together, which is out in cinemas February 12. In other news, Taylor Swift has been named Entertainer of the Year by the Associated Press after being chosen by a survey of newspaper editors and broadcast producers. The singer says that she is grateful for the selection and that her year (2009) was full of golden shiny memories. She was also recently named 2009’s Most Intriguing Person by People magazine. 'You can stay the same person, even if everything around you changes,' The Love Story star said recently. 'I would like to think everybody out there isn’t just waiting for me to trip and fall and stumble out of a club drunk. 'People know I’m not a party girl. I’m not hiding some dying urge to be out clubbing right now.'
