The Bodies singer appeared on the Australian radio station to promote his new album, Reality Killed the Video Star.
He called his girlfriend into the studio during the course of the interview, at which point Jackie O asked ‘Sydney has a bit of a reputation for proposals with celebrities, any news you want to share?’
‘This is so awkward’ Ayda Field replied laughing.
To which Robbie Williams responded ‘Will you marry me?’
‘Yes I’ll marry you!’ she said, but not without asking ‘Where’s the ring?’
The studio then gave her a frog ring to use as a symbol of their engagement.
‘I love you so much, would you be betrothed ‘til the end of time?’ said the former Take That singer as he placed the ring on her finger.
‘I would love to be your betrothed ‘til the end of time!’ she answered.
‘I can’t believe I’m witnessing this moment!’ said Jackie O.
The newly-engaged couple was later congratulated by fans.
