Back in 2007, Vanessa Hudgens was left with no option but to apologise to her young fans after a series of self taken images showing the actress in various states of undress, some fully nude, found their way onto the internet.
Now, another batch of steamy pictures of the 20 year old have surfaced on the internet, which were apparently taken when the Disney star was a minor.
Celebrity blog site Perez Hilton was ordered to remove the latest collection of images by Vanessa Hudgens' lawyers who claim that she was underage when these latest photos were taken. Naturally the website has obliged, but claiming that they were taken of her when she was a minor is a sure sharp way of lifting them from the web.
A source told E! News, 'She hasn't done anything like that since the first ones came out. These new ones are actually old.' Regardless, Vanessa Hudgens isn't planning on issuing a statement the way she did the last time around.
'I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me,' she said back in 2007. 'I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos.'
The starlet also ignored any questions put to her on the red carpet regarding the incident at the Los Angeles premiere of hew latest movie, Bandslam.
'She's not going to answer any questions about them there either,' the source added. 'She said what she had to say about taking nude photos.' But she clearly didn't learn her lesson.
Vanessa Hudgens isn't the only member of young Hollywood to have been caught in the midst of a scandal, Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester recently found herself at the centre of a sex tape scandal.
The tape, which allegedly features the actress having sex with her boyfriend, was shot a few years ago and sources say that it shows 'shows Leighton in mostly innocuous though nude scenes — with several big exceptions … one involving her very talented feet.' Say no more.
