Attorney Edward Chernoff has released the following statement: 'We can confirm that a search warrant was executed today on Dr. Murray’s offices in Houston Texas," Chernoff said in a statement. "We reviewed the warrant and remained on the premises while the search was being executed. The search was conducted by members of the DEA, two Robbery-Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department and Houston Police officers. The search warrant authorized law enforcement to search for and seize items, including documents, they believed constituted evidence of the offense of manslaughter. Law enforcement concluded their search around 12:30 p.m., and left with a forensic image of a business computer hard drive and 21 documents. None of the documents taken had previously been requested by law enforcement or the L.A. Coroner’s office.' Indicating that anyone connected with the pop star's sudden death on June 25 may face serious criminal charges.

Several items were seized from Dr Conrad Murray's office, including a forensic image of a computer hard drive and 21 documents.

While Dr Conrad Murray, 51, isn't a suspect he is a witness to the singer's death and remains a possible criminal target. It was he who discovered Michael Jackson's unconscious body in the bedroom of his rented Holmby Hills home, where he performed CPR on him until the paramedics arrived.

He is just one of several doctors that the LAPD and other agencies are currently investigating. Authorities have taken prescription drugs and other further medical evidence from Michael Jackson's home in a bid to try and work out whether or not they played a role in his death.

Pathology reports from the Los Angeles Coroner's Office, alongside the private autopsy paid for by the Jackson family, have provided the same results.

As previously reported, Michael Jackson's body was covered in needle marks and a potentially lethal dose of Propofol was found in his system at the time of death.
