Twilight fans in America have snapped up all tickets to the first screening of the new movie two months ahead of its release!
Village Cinemas in Geelong have already sold out of tickets for a special midnight showing of the film, based on the bestseller by Stephanie Meyer.
'We knew there would be a lot of interest, but tickets were sold really quickly,' said Village Cinemas marketing co-ordinator Nick Robin to the Geelong Advertiser.
'It's unusual that tickets would even go on sale so early and for just one screening, but that just shows the level of interest.'
In other news, security has been clamped down on the set of the Twilight movie series after it emerged that nobody can be trusted when it comes to keeping photographs of Robert Pattinson and co-star Kristen Stewart from surfacing on the internet.
Even Michael Sheen, who plays the role of Volturi leader Ro, was prohibited from taking photographs on set.
He says, 'I remember someone whose job was containment and I thought: 'What does that actually mean? Does that mean stopping people from getting on the set?
And it wasn't, it was to stop people on the set taking pictures and sending them out.' he said at the GQ Men of the Year Awards.
