The 35 year old is said to be over the moon at the prospect of becoming a mother for the first time. The baby is due May 10 2010.
A source told The Sun newspaper ‘To say they are ecstatic would be an understatement. The baby’s healthy and everything’s going to plan’.
Denise Van Outen met her husband when she acted as a judge on a TV talent show, Any Dream Will Do, on which Lee Mead was a contestant. The couple wed in a private ceremony after just a year of dating in the Seychelles of April this year.
According to MSN, before the couple conceived Lee Mead said ’Marriage life for me is for life, and life with Denise is fantastic’.
‘We’ve moved into a country pile in Kent, complete with sheep! I’d love to have children and hope we can start a family. It’s a really exciting time’.
Speaking to Daily Star, Denise Van Outen says ‘I think it’s important to have children with the right person-and Lee’s the first guy I have ever wanted them with.’
‘I look at him now and I know he would make a great father. Our kids will have so much curly hair!’
