The Saturdays get nasty!

The Saturdays have lashed out at their band rivals by claiming they're better singers than the Sugababes, and that Rochelle Wiseman, Frankie Sandford, Mollie King, Vanessa White and Una Healy are about to get nasty in their bid to take on the UK's number 1# all girl group.

Talking to the Sun, Rochelle Wiseman says 'We're ready to pounce.' and they're glad to temporarily see the back of Girls Aloud, not forgetting to add 'Of course, we're very grateful for all their help and what they've done for us though. '

'We know what we can do and we're ready to take advantage of their absence.' says Frankie Sandford, 'All of Girls Aloud will do well individually but our new album shows how much we have improved. We are a much better all round package now.'

'We're fitter, better dancers and our voices are much better,' quipped Mollie King.

Una Healy added, 'We are definitely aiming to be the best girl band around.'

'There is no one else around anyway!' added Rochelle Wiseman.

When asked if that included fellow group Sugababes, without hesitation Una Healy said 'Yes, we're better than them.'

Chatting backstage at the launch of Samsung's new Genio Touch phone, the girls con lay into their rivals by insisting they never argue.

Mollie King proclaimed 'You might expect it with a group of girls but there is no bitchiness with us.' continuing, 'If anyone in the group was doing that sort of thing we would address it immediately.'

'We have the right mix. We try not to spend all our time together as we know it would get a bit more tense. said Una Healy, 'We've never lived together but I think that is a really good thing.'

Vanessa White believes that their chances of succeeding are even more now as they're all settled down with their respective boyfriends. 'Girls Aloud were all single for a long time whereas we're all taken and that keeps us focused.

'All our boyfriends hang out together. They understand we want to succeed and keep out of the way.'

Rochelle Wiseman continued, 'I've just bought a house in London with my fella. We're all very settled but that means no distractions. It will put us in good stead.'
