Shortly after the news was revealed the bubbly blonde took time out to release the following statement, 'Hank and I are thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child together. We are touched by the outpouring of support by our family, friends and fans.'
The news arose when friends began to ask why the 23 year old wasn't taking part in the champagne celebrations at her recent bridal shower, which was being filmed for Kendra's second reality series, she responded by announcing to all those present that she was pregnant. However, not all of the Playmate's family were overjoyed at the unexpected news.
Kendra's mother and grandmother were furious with Kendra for not telling them the news before everybody else. Apparently, there has been plenty of time for the former glamour model to tell them before the shower as they'd spent the entire weekend together. In fact, they were so insulted that they left the party all together.
Kendra will be just over 3 months pregnant by the time she walks down the aisle with Philadelphia Eagles player Hank Baskett this summer.
Once the news was finally out the soon-to-be mum wasted no time in taking to her official blog to gush to fans about her pregnancy.

i honestly still can’t believe that soon hank and i are going to have a little athlete running around the house. seriously, the first thing this kid is going to see when its born is a football hahahahaha…
wow this has really been quite a year. from my career to my engagement, and now a baby too! im the luckiest girl in the world!!!!
